South Bay Sunday meet

We tried it out tonight, not many people showed, but it seems like it will be a good spot for the future. I think we are going to use the lot right in front of the Giulianos sandwhiches, because it is wide open after 7:00.

I was planning on stopping by, but Laker game is at 5:30... Probably after the game if I can make it... Ya'll more than welcome to watch it at my house, on big 27inch lowDef FakeFlat screen...

I propose next time to do it at a Park where we can BBQ... We can listen to music, BBQ, and enjoy the Sunday like it's was intended... Obviously, this takes more planning, but once a month we should do a BBQ Meet... I can set this up with you Ben or Edwin if you want...

My bad... I didn't check and made an ass of myself for assuming... I know where that is... Why there? Crenshaw in Crossroads is better... Next to In n Out with a bigger parking lot... It's been used alot by other car groups... I've seen bug meets, jdm meets, even Ford meets... at night, there's plenty of parking...

I'm sure there's alot of places in the SouthBay... We have lots of parks in the area to choose from... But, it's gonna take planning... I'll look at some spots... I use to live in Carson, but still work in Torrance... I'm in Cypress right now...

This place is just as good as crossroads, and I think it is a bit closer to the people that have actually been going to the meets, it has a habit burger which is just as good as In-N-Out, as well as a a few other good food places that are all inexpensive.
Also the area is kind of busy on Saturday nights, but right in front of the Giulianos we almost have our own little section that is empty and divided from the rest of the lot. It's hard to explain but if you come to the meet you'll see what I'm talking about.

Meet was originally Sunday nights, but some people thought more people would be willing to come out if it wasn't a work night. So last night (Saturday) we tested out the new spot on Torrance Blvd. and Hawthorne.

That I don't know. It's up to what everyone else thinks, but it's my understanding that next weeks will be at the new spot on Torrance Blvd., but I don't know for sure whether it will be Sat. or Sun.

Okay and on a more serious note.
I believe the new updated meet should still be on a sunday, i don't see why changing it to a saturday would do anything. people have a bunch of weekday meets, cerritos is thursday, walnut is Wednesday, and so on.
Now if everyone votes that it should be on a saturday then so be it, its cool with me.
The new spots seems legit, i think it would be even better on a sunday night but thats just me, There is plenty of food to eat, take your pick. and plenty of room and near by resources.
I would like to get this meet bigger, but not that it sucks but id really like to see some new faces showing up..

Once we make it official and actually figure out time and day. I will offcially start the SOUTHBAY MEET thread. This one died and came back, but i think we should start fresh :D

AND FOR THE BBQ IDEA

And i reallly like this idea ;) start a monthly bbq meet, maybe at a good park with public bbqs or something. it might get kinda hectic at someone house lol
