Doesn't look bad at all considering most of the roads you were on looked rough. Was that an xmas gift? assumed as you posted on 12/25 :)

I am just weary of mounting on the exterior of cars, but it must be safe if there are so many mounts out there.

The area i mounted the mount was on the rear bumper which is loose soft plastic, There is no support towards the bottom of the bumper, the mount was just moving up and down or else it would have been solid regardless of the road surface, well atleast most roads. I got the Camera as a gift, not the mount. The Fat Gecko has two suction cups, i always use a string to tie it down somewhere just in case it gives out.

well highway 39 should be open, along with eastfork and backside gmr.

im sticking to the fact that ridge road will be a REALLY bad idea with that many cars. too tight with no lanes marked. if ridge is happening i dont think i'll be going.

i can see another "accident" happening on ridge

That's a good point. The first time I did Ridge I made myself seriously carsick :( It's a bit ridiculous.

Let us know the route. (and bring the m30 mounts if you're near them ;))

m30 mounts can be picked up on the way. they're at my parents house.

i suggested azusa canyon to east fork to backside gmr. the same route we did when it was me, you, farbinbadsellerkaiber, and shit bag.

if we do that we could have a nice little break right at the ridge where backside, ridge, and frontside all meet. i think it'd be a fun drive since just doing gmr would be really short IMO
