is the 100 octane 76 sells considered race gas? I don't think i'll ever run anything higher then that.

buy your fuel in 5 gallon race fuel jugs, go around the law.

they will have to have that loophole for offroad dirt bikes and sandrails that are not registered although they still require you to have an offroad plate and registration for those.

CA, nice place to visit, but i wouldn't want to live there.

i was about to mention this... there used to be a station in south san jose that sold triple-digit octane gas.

there has been a lot of RABBLE! ITT, but the way i read the release, it doesn't say "anything higher than 91-octane is illegal"- it says "all gas sold for street cars needs to meet the ARB standards"- nothing has changed, they're just reiterating what the law is, which is basically "don't put leaded fuel in a street car".

whatever you happen to be driving, if you have so much compression or boost in it that you NEED leaded fuel for it, it is probably not streetable anyway. if you are trying to eke a little more power out of a hairy-chested "street car", there are other options than leaded fuel... finding a station that sells E85 is probably the easiest, and it's perfectly legal.

There is a thread about all the locations for 100 octane stations in so cal. Have not seen any e85 ones though. That would be ideal for when i want to eventually turn up the boost.

Yeah I know there's a 76 station about 10-15 miles away from me that has 100 octane. That's the only one I've seen. Never seen any gas stations with E85.

In lancaster there is a VP fuel gas station that has 101&110 octane. I love it! even though its like $7 a gallon.

when i left california in 2006 there was a big push for it and it was plentiful then, but apparently not so now...

Thank you Cali for wasting more of our tax money on some pretty much for the most part worthless subject vs fix our fuckin economy. I don't give a flying fuck about race gas or not being sold to the gen public, fuck this dumb ass state and all the idiots running it. When they actually fix a real problem someone alert the media, otherwise fuck the C.A.R.B fuck the liberals fuck the republicans. Pretty much unless you get something done In this state go fuck yourself.

I second that, I could use more ready access to good food, bilingualism and cultural diversity.

Wait, nevermind, we got all that without having to change nationalities. Immigration ftmfw.

                              fixed.

immigration is one of the main reasons our state is in the shitter. If all the "residents" that bed down here every night correctly paid taxes or paid taxes at all, we would be in a completely different situation. The illegal immigrants in this state alone could bring us out of the slump if they just paid taxes. But no, for some fucked reason we turn a blind eye to these people.

Answer me this, how can someone that isn't a citizen collect unemployment, disability, ebt, and welfare? The illegals have found a way to work the system and we are paying for it. Look up the statistics of how many illegals are in this state. You want to hear the worst part?? HOW DO WE HAVE THOSE STATISTICS??? In order to get those results we have to know how many are here, if we know how many are here, why cant we go through the proper steps to get their citizenship and or residency. Thus resulting in MORE TAXPAYERS.

Keep it up California. We've stopped using a shovel to dig the grave for the state, no we're using a back hoe.

Looks like to me that the higher octane stuff should be fine, but then again I didn't look up the other related law sections. Most people probably shouldn't be running leaded fuel these days anyways... Just kills the O2 sensor quicker, and clogs up cats.
