All of you need to quit your bitching and move to the midwest. For example, indy does have smog laws but it hasn't been enforced for YEARS. You should see how many cars run straight pipes, dumps, cat less exhaust all year with out having to swap stuff on and off for inspection.

Regular premium gas in 93 octane, Sunoco sells 94, several speedways sell race gas and you don't have to fill out any silly forms, and there is e85 everywhere.


On the downside there is a shit ton of corn, cows, and soy beans. It gets f'ing cold in the winter. No scenery unless you are south of IU. Finally, it's the home of whatayahoo18.

immigration is one of the main reasons our state is in the shitter. If all the "residents" that bed down here every night correctly paid taxes or paid taxes at all, we would be in a completely different situation. The illegal immigrants in this state alone could bring us out of the slump if they just paid taxes. But no, for some fucked reason we turn a blind eye to these people.

Answer me this, how can someone that isn't a citizen collect unemployment, disability, ebt, and welfare? The illegals have found a way to work the system and we are paying for it. Look up the statistics of how many illegals are in this state. You want to hear the worst part?? HOW DO WE HAVE THOSE STATISTICS??? In order to get those results we have to know how many are here, if we know how many are here, why cant we go through the proper steps to get their citizenship and or residency. Thus resulting in MORE TAXPAYERS.

Every illegal alien I've ever worked with paid full taxes but never filed, because they didn't understand the system and/or they were being taken advantage of by our employer. So, despite the fact that they were entitled to relatively fat refunds (EIC anyone?), they never recieved a dime of these so called rampant government handouts. I even offered to help a few with their tax returns, but their fear of filing and possibly being caught was just too much to worry about, so they let the IRS and FTB take thousands of dollars from them every year. And unemployment or welfare? Never met a single one on it. Food stamps and WIC, sure, but feeding people and their children with my tax dollars never really upset me too much. Oh, but if they had kids, they did get the same access to education we do. What a tragedy, right? Educating a population of future Americans, as if...
...But, this isn't the politics forum, and I'm aware of that. By all means, have the last word, I certainly tried to. :p

in response to those videos. I never said that I was mad at the immagrants. I said I was mad at the goverment and immagraTION. Our goverment IS the problem, I know that. My point was, they need to better police the immagration itself. If they policed it with more attention to detail, then they would be able to round up more tax payers. As long as you pay taxes, I have no problem what color you are, what language you speak or what religion you claim. So basically, as long as you pay taxes, you're more than welcome to live here, in my book.

I hope you understand what I'm saying. Im not against anyone. I just dont think its fair for one person to pay taxes when another person doesn't.

I agree with this statement and the one before it. Like every rule, there is an exception. Your fellow employees being that exception.

And on topic with CARB, it really doesnt effect me and the people it does effect need to really think about what they are upset about. 100 octane fuel isnt going to make your 20 year old e30 any noticable amount faster. Your butt dyno will go off the hook but really, its not a night and day difference. Its not like the CHP are going to dip your tank for race fuel either. Now with diesel, they will actually dip for red dye diesel. So consider yourself lucky that there really isnt an easy way for them to find out if you are running it or not. Great excuse is you run sea foam through your gas tank or octane booster. They wont know.

I've paid over 100k in to taxes and when I was unemployed and needed assistance I could not get any cause I was a student. I could not qualify for any student aid for 2 years cause they wnet of 2 prior years of tax returns. Or how about when I was a kid being raised by a single parent and we could not get school lunches cause they felt 20k a year was more then enough for a family of three. Mean while all the mexican kids with illegal parents and armenian kids who's parents never worked a day since they entered our country get all the aid they can handle.
