I'll see if I can find something similar. Definitely don't want to use JB Weld in that area.

Btw, turns out that is a set of oil passages cast into the block and a leak from that location is somewhat common on older head gaskets.

Ideally, you should replace the head gasket. Sealant is going to be a temporary fix.

yeah but i wouldnt want to just replace the hg. i'd want to rebuild the bottom end to get rid of that piston slap you know? So if i could do a temporary fix i could figure out whether to swap with m50, rebuild a fresh m20, etc...

im very tempted to take my car to socal to get that stroker motor that's been rebuilt

So in that case, let me find out which sealer we should put on it and we'll hope it holds up until you figure it out.
