Um, 88s did all have metal bumpers, unless maybe it was built in 88 for an 89 model year. That's alli can think of anyway, or people already converted them.

The reason why I said this, was because I have met a couple of guys with 88s, one was an IX and the other an IS and both had plastic bumpers. Plus they both had no clue that there was a difference.

Yo iron e I put that bumper on man what a difference. And also the facelift front valance just need to find a red front plastic bumper and bumper swap will be finished. 88 models don't deserve the torture of metal bumpers.
