Any HID pros near San Jose?

I need a hand with my headlights. I have my DDM 55w HID kit and hella euro ellipsoids. I need help wiring them up. I have looked at the write up but those seem to apply to just euro ellipsoids not smilies? not sure.
    Do I need the pigtails?
I was under the impression i didnt because i had the HID kit.
    thanks
    -Craig

I take it you have U.S. elips currently on your car. If so you are correct that you do not need pigtails for your hid kit since it has a 9006 power input connection. You will need to do additional wiring it you want the city lights to work. Also you will either need to cut a hole in the back of your projector cap or not use it all together with the risk of getting moisture inside the housing

Fuck, ha sorry im an idiot, the hid kit would plug right in if you had the euro pig tails but since you dont have them you will have to splice the wires from the car and the hid kit. im not sure what goes were but if you search through the lighting sub forum im sure you will find it.

              HAHA its cool bro
I am having trouble finding info on it. Would it be cleaner/easier to just get my hands on some pig tails?

The ddm kit comes with some sort of power cord that plugs in to the hid pack. Just splice that in to your factory wiring

Then you'll have to cut a whole in the back of the cap. You should not see anything once you install the engine bay covers.

If you want to be on the super safe side you could always add a bead of silicone to the rubber gromet as you'll want to cut off the power lead wires coming out of them since they are not going to be used. I'll take a pic of my setup in the morning.

And since your going from sealed to ellips you'll need to jump the relay. So that your high beams won't turn off your low beams. I'll try to find a write up on that to. Youll need a soldering gun though for that.
