    1st Time installing springs,

    care to lend a hand to your fellow r3ver? it's my first time doing springs, i'd appreciate it if someone wants to come and help me out. impromptu meet? there are some nice roads around here.

    1991 BMW 318i (Old Shell RIP, Now Being Re-shelled & Reborn)
    1983 Peugeot 505 STI
    1992 Volvo 240 Wagon

    its easy as long as you have have a spring compressor and a pickle fork (for the ball joint's) GL!

      What springs do you have? You might not even need a compressor in some cases.

                Spring compressors are for pussies. Just zip off the top nut with the strut hat pointed away from you.

                  You can loan a set of spring compressors from AutoZone or Oreilly's aka (Kragen)
                  They'll charge $40.00 and when you're done with the job and return the tool undamaged you get your $40.00 back not a bad deal if you ask me.

                    might be worth it^^^ prob make the job easier with a compressor.

                        +1 I got a set from autozone when I did mine. Made it a ton easier.

                            I did that on a like 02-ish Nissan Altima. Shit flew off, hit the ground, bounced up and hit me straight in the balls. Told my friend he'd have to finish the shit without me. :rofl:
