Good news, I maybe able to make it. I got a new diff thanks to MR E30 325is and my engine is holding up well on long drives. I'm going to swap diffs this Friday and if all goes well I will be heading down! So LA caravan guys, 90% chance I will catch you on the 405 S going through Costa Mesa.
