1987 Red Convertible Needed
The Chapter has been contacted by a rep from Allure Entertainment. They are shooting a film next week and absolutely have to have a 86-87 BMW. The one they had lined up had to cancel and they are scrambling to find another before Monday morning.
The story line revolves around a young man in Indiana in 1987 who has a new red BMW convertible so there's no way they can substitute a blue coupe.
THE CAR ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE A BMW, 1986 or 1987 RED CONVERTIBLE. It should be in good condition and look stock. Engine mods don't matter and they can digitally replace non-stock rims, but they can't use a car that has all sorts of exterior add-ons. A cassette player (working or not) would be an extra bonus.
THE CAR ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE RED AND HAS TO BE A CONVERTIBLE. Nothing else will do. If this isn't your car, please forward this to anyone you know who may have the car they need.
The shoot is Monday through Wednesday (August 23-25) in the Pasadena area. The car will be insured. They will pay $300 a day and will want to keep the car overnight. You are welcome to stay and watch the filming and join them for lunch. Or you can drop your baby off for her film debut and pick her up again Wednesday evening.
