hehe dont mind me, I was just sketching down the idea ive had in my head for a long time ;) I'll leave all the technical stuff up to the pros but from what I can tell, the angle of an m20 would allow this withought heavy modifications to the engine bay.

But maybe one day... Leave a comment:

Blueapplesoda has the white coupe with a cage, turbo obviously, and mtech wing.

I'm running the same wideband on my setup. But my price (your price) is a lot less.

I will be making a new column pod with a better angle to make a master mold from. I will do a limited production run (maybe 10) and after that they will only be available when purchased with a turbo kit. I'll be looking in to a gauge that displays boost and afr.Last edited by einstein57; 12-22-2010, 08:43 PM.Leave a comment:

Thank you, I know i've seen your name around. Mind reminding me?I would highly recommend the ARPs...the Metric Blues will hold fine though up to 1 bar or maybe more, but I wouldn't recommend reusing them if you had to pull the head off again for any given reason. They are cheap enough to replace a few times....which by then you'd probably should've bought the ARPs.

Do it once, do it right. That's my take on things.

Wideband, I was looking at this one: http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/i...796-p-152.htmlI'll be doing a group buy on wide bands pretty soon. I'm also a diyautotune dealer and can provide pretty much everything on their site. And you decided on the dynomax vt remember. I do have a preferred local company in the south bay. Gonnah see about having gauges made with my logo. But VDO does make some sweet gauges. You can often find used sets of 3 on ebay for cheap. I really like the cartech as well. Very slim and easy to plumb. I'm going to be offering the single column pod within the next couple months. Expect big moves for 2011. My silent partner offered to buy an e46 m3 developement car

Yes yes dynomax VT, for somereason i thought we had a conversation about magnaflow too but I prefer the VT.

Are you making a mold for the column pod? That would be great from a visability standpoint instead of low and right at the center console.Leave a comment:

No updates recently as everyone has been pretty busy :)

Nigel has my car while I am in MA. If all goes well he will have the 3" pipe (mandrel bent) welded with a high flow cat and magnaflow muffler completed when I get back.

-Nigel you still have my oil pan correct? Need anything else for that? money? lol

-I need to pick up a wideband sensor. Retailer and type suggestions? LC-1 right? Been looking at DIYAutoTune.com

-I'm researching other guages, but it u have a preferred source please forward. I'm looking at mostly VDO guages at the moment and filling in with Autometer etc.

Oil pressure guage, EGT guage (exhaust gas temp really needed?), Boost Guage, Voltage guage

-Where did u pick up the Metric Blue head studs? McMaster-Carr? Many say use ARP but those are $200 vs $50 Metric Blue. Savings worth it?

-Were we going to do a group buy with the Megasquirt? I already forgot which kit so please remind me.

 Cheers
