Well I'm down for a monthly adams kart track meet. Maybe if we get big enough we can reserve it as a bmw only night.

I know the 240sx and corolla guys have reserved the track for $250 iirc

That was me with the white e30 and roof rack. I came late because I had prior engagments. Seemed like I missed out on alot of other e30s?

That's was you in the boosted early model right? Your car sounded pretty good but seemed like you were getting alot of understeer in the second turn. What suspension are you running? Also, the other red boosted late model sounds like it needs some further tuning. It sounded like it was bogging in low to mid range rpm on his corner exits. Props for you two doing work tho. I wouldve joined you but my e30 isn't to track friendly right now.

That was me. Hard to believe my car was not running at all till 5:30pm. I'm running pretty cheap tires and i did not even bring a tire gauge or pump to fine tune them. That and my alignment is way off. I'm running bilstein sports, h&r race, st sways, m3 front sway bar mounts with bimmerworld links, kmacks, and urethane bushings all around. No stress bars though that night.
The red car had only 1/3 tank of gas and was starving the fuel pump. That and he kept blowing vacuum lines and stuff was falling apart off his car. I gave him a few tips on how to make it more consistent. I think he kept leaning out and blew his head gasket cause he started spewing water through the radiator seams and steam out the exhaust

shifty tires seem to be the culprit that night then huh? I saw you on an off the track occassionally, what was happening with that? Fine tuning? Problems? And as for the red e30, as soon as I heard him coming out of turn two, I knew it wasn't running right. My friend and I predicted something like that would happen. I was leaning more towards blowing the block so a blown headgasket is a good thing in that scenario. Anyhoo, maybe at the next Adams meet I'll take my e30 for a spin, hopefully I'll have some decent tires mounted and clear all the junk out of my car. Hope to see you there.

Yeah the rear end was all over the place and i thought i had a flat or a broken sway bar link. Turned out to be increased tire pressure and over heated rubber. Started short shifting and they held grip. Unfortunately another set of tires are not in my near future unless i sell some cars soon.
