I'm currently in Long Beach, should be here for at least 2 months. I'm down for a meet. Where I'm at is a freakin GHOST town, I need some kind of activity.
Always open to recommendations. Places to eat, drink, see some live music, etc.
Also trying to figure out a good place to park my car, as my building's parking garage has a year long wait list, and I've been having to park like 3 blocks from my house. Not so fun late at night.
Come out tonight guys, a big turnout is expected in Van Nuys. Always cool to meet new people and make our community bigger. ;
what part of long beach are you from? what are your cross streets?
I'm staying at the Villa Riviera building on Ocean and Alamitos/Shoreline. You know the old Hotel looking thing? My girlfriend's cousin has a condo he's letting us crash at for a few months for next to nothing.
I'd love to do a meet. Keep me posted.

well if you go east on ocean where it turns to second street there is alot of bars there and a great place to eat is called Open Sesame, mediteranian and another great spot next to it called La creperia where they make crepes and serve alcohol. This is like a 3-4min drive from where you are
then on the other side of long beach near the Pike area there is Pine ave where there are alot more bars and a few clubs. Hip hop, island reggae, salsa, flamenco, etc...long beach is pretty diverse
there is also 4th street is kind of a lil artsy district
@brooklyMW, if you want to take your girl dancing tonight, go to wokcano's in long beach and mention cagedmonkeys so you can get in for free all night.
