Bavarian Auto Recycling in Sacramento- worth a visit?

    Guys,

I'm going to be passing through Sacramento with an empty Chevy Suburban. How are the prices at Bavarian Auto Recycling?

I'll be going home to Seattle from San Fran and could detour to Bav Auto in Sacramento if it was worth it. Looking for things like E30 plastic bumpers, front windshields, front fenders, etc. Things of this nature that our PRO3 cars go through as consumables. They are in tight supply in Seattle these days. Always good to have spares on the shelf.

    thanks,

Last time I was there they had over 10 e30's two of which were 'verts.

So the "pick and pull" is literally across the street? Anyone have a name, address, web address or phone number of the pick and pull? Sounds like a better option, thanks guys!

Thats a shame, they have so much inventory. The GM is a member here, I forget his user name. Hard to get a hold of.

Horrible service, every time I ordered parts from them I got something totally different than I ordered. Hard to get in touch with, Absolute worst way to run a business

So looking at the on-line pricing for Picn-n-pull, they seem to be pricing all hoods, or all fenders (for example) the same price? domestic or foreign? The pricing does not seem to get brand specific.

Edit: I called the yard, pricing is the same for all brands of cars.

not worth your time and money.

they shipped over a busted ZF for my 24v swap and went thru hell to get my money back, crappy customer service as well. I'll never buy anything from them again.

buy new or from trusted guys on the forums - that's it
