I am moving up to SF proper for work, and my apartment-hunting experience has shown me that I will not have space to work on anything in any of the locations I want to live. A brief CL scroll has shown a number of warehouses available for monthly rents of between $2k and $4k in the San Mateo and South SF area. If we can get ~10 people together reliably to rent one of these, a substantial number of cars can fit in it and undergo long-term projects.
