Wtb - engine in Southern CA

I need a new motor for my e30, my m10 took a major dump blown hg and 4th cylinder is toast. Looking to buy a good running engine, any help greatly appreciated. Interested in maybe another m10, m20, m50, m52... Need asap as I need my car back!

Always look for impound markings or a car that was in an accident. I've found recently rebuilt engines at the yard on several occasions

what do impound markings look like? i see markings on yard cars all the time like the year, serial numbers, etc..
