I just picked up my car from getting it detailed. And like ///digitalme, I hope the dust and dew doesnt get me on the street. Now I'm wodering if I go to sleep now... will tomorrow come any faster? lol

I hate parking in thestreet. There's a lot of trees which means birdpoo everyday! I hope it looks good as it does right now

Ok, so I'm not going tomorrow. Even though I've been looking forward to this since before I even moved to California, it's just simply not possible for me to go right now. More than Bimmerfest, I was most looking forward to the caravans!

Not trying to start a sob story or nothing, but my poor car has a repair list a mile long, and I have about $3 to my name right now. So, gas and admission fees are currently impossible. It's even impossible for me to ride with somebody else as I'd feel too guilty not being able to share gas expenses with them.

I tried to make it work, and tried to get paid on time, but it just ain't happening. Hopefully I'll be there next year, and hopefully my car will be done by then and will be a real showpiece.

As a consolation, (And since I won't be waking up at 4am) my girlfriend bought me a 12 pack of PBR, I'm 3 cans down, and intend on drinking the rest before the night is through.

Have fun everybody. I'm very sorry I won't have the chance to meet some of you in person, but I know there will be other opportunities in the near future.

Although its super useful and nice to have, if you pay enough attention, and listen to the instructions at the meet before the drive you won't die without the radio.

That means you need a new battery ... Happened to me , OR try giving yourself a jump.

i jumped it too and when it was idling in park it would bounce. and the anti lock light is lit fully and the battery light is dimly lit. and the battery is about 6 months old and it worked the past several months.

damn i might not go tomorrow. my car is acting weird. the battery light starting turning on and the anti lock light also. it just started doing that about 2 hours ago. now it doesnt start
