we haven't even played on live yet so you can't say that. i happen to be pretty good at racing games. so we shall see about that once finals are over, we'll do some racing and come to a conclusion.

$2500 to source parts from an e46 m3 or i could chose a slightly cheaper way and buy a tranny from europe and have it shipped here. they are factory 6 speeds in europe. the us based models for all bmws are horseshit. just like my car, in europe, would have 282hp, vented brakes with floating rotors, glass headlights, 6 speed transmissions or smg transmission and other european standard equipment. or even after 95, they were given 316hp instead of the wack ass 240 hp we have here.

misc nuts and bolts- lets say $100 tops

sounds about right.
but...
sold the 5 speed Tranny. +$100
sold the 5 speed Raxel. +$100
keeping the 5 speed starter to use the brushes for a rebuild. +$80

bank+$280
minus-$1730
= $1450
tada. not to bad. i dont think.

it could be done around that price if i were to source an actual e36 6 speed tranny from europe, but i'd have to wait a while and i'd have to find someone willing to ship it.
