I saw daytona with the techno violet e36 broken down on ventura tonight, what happened mang

car started getting hot at in n out drive thru. I noticed when it was about 85% towards the red zone and turned the car off. rolled it forward to get my food and then parked on ventura so it could cool down enough to check out what going on. This was last night around 11.

ended up being the fan clutch. I was able to drive it still afterwards without overheating again. I had the heat on full blast the whole time but idk if that helped or not being that it was the fan clutch. took care of it today and shes doing good again.

yikes. don't let the s50 overheat unless you plan on doing an engine swap. :/

yeah, e36s main weakness, as with any bmw really is the cooling system.

same with the e30. but the m20s are bulletproof.
