I was making $5 more an hour out here, as a welder.
The minimum wage is the same.
93 octane is cheaper here than 91 there.
Taxes are lower here.
a pack of smokes is like $4.50. Alexa Smokes.
Our apartment is 1130 square feet. the most we have paid $565 a month, this fluctuates as the water bill is in there. our energy is normally $55 and interwebs is $30. And it aint the cheap, minimum interwebs. Out here we have the stupid fast bad ass system everywhere. where as is CA, its only available in the bigger cities.

My auto insurance was $1340 every 6 months. 100/300, Full coverage, USAA.
Out here I pay $870. same plan, coverage and company.

It isn't hot as fuck. Just humid as fuck. Besides, I'm from Lancaster. Our summers often float around 115. Y'all don't know what that's like to live in day in and day out. Its 1 hell of an improvement for me.
