I am taking my car to get BAR'd this Wed and need a stock box that could fit my e30. I have an e36 box and an e34 airbox and both wouldn't fit in the car. Is there anyone with a stock looking box that could let me borrow an airbox that would fit a 24v swapped e30? I am in SJ and can drive wherever you are. I need it by Wed morning. I have my K&N cone air filter that I can trade in the meantime so you will still be able to use your car.

Take your hood off. No smog law says a hood is required.

Bump - any other help? I dont think I wanna roll up to the ref hoodless. Especially to the Evergreen station which I heard is very unreasonably strict.Comment

No seriously. It'll work.
If you don't want to roll up hoodless then do this: Roll up to the ref's parking lot, take off hood, replace cone filter with stock airbox, take ref test, roll back into parking lot, put cone filter and hood back on, go home.
