Would I be allowed to register the 7th since that's my next paycheck?

I fixed my rubbing issues of my 225/50's!

You just need to flatten the inner weld on the rear.

    Helmet Check.
    Autocross Registration Check.
    Gas ....... ?

Brett I wouldn't do 225/50s. U will have rubbing issues most likely. Just do 45s if u can.

Depending if one has a changed (or has a selection of) diff ratios, 225/45 can actually be very tempting due to the shorter rollout. I have a 3.25 (vs my 2.93) that I need to rebuild....so I stuck my 2.93 back in and chose the shorter rollout. (Don't know if you know that or not, I'm not wanting to be an Internet Armchair Engineer ;-)

Redbull seriously fucks with my system. ;-)

I am wrong. I meant to type "dropped only the front 2-3psi" not both front and rear. It will be more about feel than actual lap time, as the new generation of 140wear "almost R compound street tires" has a very broad psi range to work with.

A good article about the latest tires for us
    Still debating the drive.....

    Thanks, need wheels first!

I did enjoy them, but they do not complain. When over taxed (push) it feels like its skipping, no audible noise to also let you know whats happening. I do want to run the TRM C1s 15x8 sooner than later, but for now I might as well wear the RS3 to the chords. I ran them at 42psi front and 38 psi rear when warmed up. Still debating the drive as I am always worn out after an AutoX just from meeting the many cool peeps out there.... On the drive back from Camarillo Airport after running there I had to take a small nap, and that's only 1.2 hrs out....
Good information, thanks. TireRack has a deal on the TRM C1s 15x8 (in 5x120), I can get a set shipped for $463 which is tempting and I could run 225/50 or 225/45.

I'll start buying the tape today but as far as registration goes, what's the latest to register? One of my brothers might be coming in his 91-4dr-318i too.
