oh my! oh my! that day was an awesome day, wasn't it Nigel!?! when was that again? i remember that was the day when you really pushed your car and have noticed its limit and how to better camber the rear haha.

thanks for letting me track your e30 that day, it felt great!

i can't wait to go to the track with y'all! I'M SO FUCKING GLAD THERE ARE MORE E30s RACING THEIR CARS NOW! Taylor, you're one of the only one whose car is a track/autox virgin! haha, you're next!

Edwin and Chris, i'm so proud of you guys! i can't wait to track with y'all.

Yo Balleristic31, what tires and what tire pressure were you running that day? And what was the weather like?

Chris, thanks for letting me drive your M3. TCKline setup eh? 2nd run in your car I dropped into 37.5xx, which I was aiming for as I had hit it Sat. Your car made it so very simple. Love the S14 sound and drive-ability. So I hopped right into my car and hit a 37.4xx right after. I need to trust my car more, push but still dance like a ballerina driving style.

Oh, and you made me puff my chest in pride, because after you told Nick? that I drive pretty well, he jumped in my car after you, and I spun it ;-) He generally was posting faster times in his Alpine 318is. I never experienced a 318 before, but I am quite surprised by its ability. The better weight distribution can really be felt, ESPECIALLY compared to the meatier M50 I have.

I want to give your chip a shot BTW.

To all the others who I know I forgot your names, thanks for showing up and making this a damn fine E30 turnout. Meeting all of you and seeing what a clean E30 looks like made this the perfect getaway from the work weekend I usually have.

Nick? (Alpine 318is on race springs) you had inquired about the Camarillo AutoX. Visit PCASB.org for more info. It's the end of this month. If you go, watch the Schneider Autohaus guys for times, especially Chris A. in the 944 Turbo. He runs stock suspension but with sways and hauls ass, yet dances his car around the track like a young Ayrton Senna.

Just keep your spare in the trunk to keep some semblance of balance ;-) (I do that time to time with my M50 and it does help.) S54 your crazy:loco: Are you going to fit more rubber around the car for it then? Think 9s or 10s square setup around the car!!!!

Great to see you again Dan, you're an amazing driver! You really know your car's limits and the limits of those tires. It was a blast riding with you for those 3 36.x runs! You would be even faster with a Miller MAF kit!

I want to head to SD and have you show me how to drive my M next time around! :D

BTW after feeling your NT01s, I'll have to try out my R888s that I have sitting next time we auto-x!

Great meeting you Justin and riding in your car! :D

You're a great driver, and you bested my fastest time over a half second!

You will be considerably faster with a stiffer and lower spring/coil-over set-up. Our chip and a better flowing exhaust system should help you a lot!

The weight distribution of the 4 cylinder cars vs. swap cars IS quite noticeable. However, I really miss the power of my s52 car. It will be interesting to see how big of a difference I will feel going from the s14 to the s54... :ohsnap:

Justin it was totally cool to meet you cause you are one of the only e30 drivers i know that have actually autox'd previously. My purpose in trying to get everyone to go to this was to show everyone what a blast driving your car at the limit in a safe envirnment can be. I think it happened. ;)

I really enjoyed riding with you (even with the spin :D) if there was a litte and you really a great driver and have a lot of knowledge to pass around.

As for the Camarillo autox, i doubt ill be able to make this months event. But ill do my best to make it as often as I can. Being that it's less than 20 minutes away, I have no excusses not to :p
