    Looking to Hire a Mechanic

E30 Motor Werks is looking for a good mechanic to join the team.

For 5 years I have done everything by myself as a one man show, I can no longer keep up with business and must have a good tech on duty.

I have lots of great work for the right mechanic. If you like working with older BMW's then this is the job for you. Obviously we specialize in E30's but also do work with E36's, E39's and E46's and would like to continue to grow the business.

We have established a excellent clientèle and have performed some great work and projects. We work with everything from the lowly street beaters to top line street machines all the way to race car preparation.

E30 Motor Werks has been in business for a solid 5 years and have business that has almost doubled every year in business.

This is a part time position with a 90 day probational period. Full time employment can be entertained after the probation period.

    What We Do:
    Full Maintenance and Mechanical Repair

Minimum 3 years verified work experience
    Trade School/Vocational/College training/education preferred
ASE Certifications helpful but not required
Must have your own basic hand tools

    Pay and Benefits:
This is a Part Time position 20-30 per week

You get to work with excellent, talented, and good spirited customers who take pride in their cars.
Participate in our Annual E30 Car Show and BBQ that gets bigger and bigger every year!

As the shop grows and revenue grows with it, your pay can increase based on positive production. I get the cars in the door, you get them out the door. There are no health benefits at the current time.

Come backs are not tolerated, every car MUST be fixed correctly the first time
3 comebacks in a 3 month period will result in immediate dismissal
Keeping the shop cleaned and organized is a part of the job regardless of pay arrangement, you will be expected to do your part.

Some of our current jobs we have in the shop right now.
E30 M3 Wiring Harness Swap and Alpha N installation

E30 325is S50 swap, need oil pan baffle installed and possible head rebuild

We are also building a Chump Car racer and building our own shop track car.
In the future we are looking to start supporting the SoCal Spec E30 scene and gaining more race orientated business.

This shop has HUGE potential but I am handicapped trying to accomplish this all myself. A good mechanic will have a opportunity to be part of a great thing.

I have great plans for E30 Motor Werks, from Service and Repair, Retail Products, Engine, Transmission, and Differential Rebuilding Services, Spec E30 Contingency Prize Money, and having our very own race team.

We have just negotiated an addition 3 year lease and are in negotiations for a business loan to install a second lift and other shop improvements.

If your interested in working for E30 Motor Werks, contact me for a interview.

Please note, we are looking for a mechanic, not a shop helper/apprentice.
