My trans is leaking at the back, either the shifter input seal or the rear main. Need to fix, but no experience with trans work. How much would it cost me at your shop?

I can't say how much without looking at it. I can help you and give you the parts at my cost and labor at wholesale price. Our retail rate is $85/hour but will discount down to $50/hr. If it's only an out side seal I will help out and just pay the parts.. Just need to see it.

Most of the time the transmission can be out in 3 hours or less. Is yours a 5 speed or auto?
And most seals are about $40 bucks or so for the set.

      Did 2 today.. lol

It is a 528e 5 speed, dont think I would need to pull the trans seeing as it's at the back. But I don't know. Yeah, I was gonna ask if I could get in on it but most shops are strict about being in the work area. While we are in there I wanted to replace the CSB, Quibo, and remove the stupid balancer thing. Maybe freshen up the shifter stuff.

Kk, back to the first part of the post. Fender roller will be back in my posesion this weekend. I still wanna get a bunch of people together for a fender rolling, beer drinking event. I'm busy until the new year (driving down to LA to get my "new to me" gold centered BBS RG's), what about everyone else? Who wants to roll thier fenders for FREE? How about the first get together of 2012? Just spit out an upcoming date.
