need help installing dash board in my e30

hey i removed the old dash and cant seem to fit the new or old dashboard back into place in my e30 and could use some help by someone with experience. willing to pay too if someone has the time. thanks

if you werent in san diego...

slide it in from the passengers side, then you just got to make sure that the vents under the dash are all lined up, it shouldnt be too hard, just "wiggle" it into place, its more of a patience
thing the first time around.

it'll fit....just make sure you don't gouge your a-pillars if you don't remove them and route the wiring and ducts carefully.

we just put an early model dash in my dad's 1992 vert. it didnt fit. we had to cut the part that goes along the firewall.

im pretty positive i have the same size dash that was in it to begin with... but still cant get it in...

i have been just driving my car with wires and shit hanging all over the place and its my only car at the moment because my audis engine blew in pennsylvania and it just got out of the shop so its sitting at my mothers house over there right now. kinda risky driving around like that... i just hope i dont get pulled over. if i cant find someone willing to help im just going to have to let it stay like that untill i can afford the 500 or so dollars it will cost me to take it to the shop.

What the fuck is the problem? What isn't fitting? I've done this probably over 5 times, never had a problem with it not fitting... Early/late dash is the same, minus the stupid seatbelt light thing on the top/center of the very early dash.

already gouged one of the pillars >:( and friend snapped turn signal and cracked my crack free dash trying to get it in! so mad but at this point i really dont care i just want to get the dash back in.

white convertible with blue top...i appreciate the offer but i think im just gonna take it in to get it done unless someone with experience can help because i dont want the dash the crack anymore than it has and i dont want anything else to break.

dude...don't take it to a shop. there are plenty of knowledgeable members on this forum and $500 is a giant waste of money.
