We are inviting all e30 (non M & M3) owners to join us on February 12 at Streets of Willow for an E30 only run group with Speed Ventures.
We were able to run 4 JMP Auto private run group on 2011 with Speed Ventures and we want to continue doing it for 2012 but with more focus on e30s only. We've been running it with other cars on the group like e36, e46, mini, s2000 and some random cars. This time it will be e30s only but we need cars to fill in the group. If we don't make the minimum number then some other bmw will be in the group.
All e30s are welcome from all stock to full race turbo and swap cars. This is not a competition or wheel to wheel racing. This event is to have fun and enjoy all the money we are spending on our cars and be able to drive it to the limit on the race track. No speeding tickets or freak accident here. All you need is a helmet and a good running e30 and you're good to go.
Previous track experience is required to join this run group. If this will be your first time on the track, you are welcome to join the beginner group on Saturday Feb 11 and join the JMP run group on Sunday. You will get a special discounted rate for those 2 days. Previous track experience with other group and track is ok. If you only have autox experience then we can consider depending on your experience level. Street racing and canyon driving experience not acceptable ;). You can also join us at Buttonwillow on January 28-29 with Speed Ventures if you want to get your first track experience.
Pricing to be announced in 2 weeks. Transponder rental will be free for our group. Spots are limited to a maximum of 25 cars so let me know early if you want to join the run group. We will arrange for food and drinks depending on how the majority of drivers want it. We always do potluck and we never run out of food for the entire day. Anybody can join us at the track on that day, we have space for a big e30 meet at the track. Everybody has to pay the $10 gate fee to enter the facility.
We will give away prizes for fastest and slowest lap time for the day. If Speed Ventures will hold Bimmer Challenge that day then we can all join.
JMP Auto will do a free tech inspection on your e30 before the event to make sure your car will be safe and okay on the track. We will also do a FREE smoke test on your car if you are a registered driver for the event. We also offer corner weight balancing for $45 without adjustment and $95 with adjustment only for registered drivers. Save your spot early so you have time to fix your car just in case you have to.
