    Just an observation...

I've been living in SoCal now for the last 5 months, and honestly, ive never seen so many modded e30s before in my life. Literally, I see at least 3 per day. I BARELY ever saw any back in NorCal.

For example, only this morning I've seen: a slammed late model lachs on rf's, slammed late 4d on weaves, red iS on super lite reps, slammed alpine 2d, and a ds mt2 vert.

    My csb of the week.

This wasnt the situation 3 or 4 years ago. You can thank all the SoCal r3v OG's for the e30 scene we enjoy today.

I have a love hate relationship with the current e30 scene now. It seems that every kid and his brother have an e30 now. The e30 scene is quickly becoming the 240 scene. There are fewer and fewer actual e30 enthusiasts anymore.

That's MY observation. But when I see the occasional REALLY well done e30, it makes me think about the good ol days when no one even knew what my car was. I hope someday it returns back to the way it was. When you could get a beautiful e30 for $4000.

            /rant lol

I've seen two e30's in the almost three years I've lived in Eastern Idaho. One of them I own.

Taylor hit the nail on the head. I feel exactly the same way and I'm in no way an OG.

I just wish more people took the time out once a month to come to the meets. I understand work and stuff gets in the way, but we need to have a good monthly meet with 15 + cars. We are discussing a new location / time / day for the SoCALe30 Monthly meet, so if you guys want to check it out. The thread is here. Start at page 56.

Dude end of next month! I'm bringing my beloved E30 down finally at the end of next quarter of school. Really looking forward to driving all of these roads that I've been around for the last half of the year, at last.

Thought I'd revive this thread. I see an E30, or maybe to be more specific, an "enthusiast-owned" E30 almost everyday, if not multiple times per day.

I just rode my bike to my car in between classes to pick something up, and noticed 2 other "enthusiast-owned" e30s in just my row. There has to be at least 15 e30s on my campus at all times.

wth your school is exceeding the limit of enthusiast e30's in one lot!

I know at my school we have at least 2 e28's, 2 modded 318's, 3 etas and a calypso vert (CSUSB)
