    Bay area shop

I need to get my s50e30 up and running. Anyone know of a place that can troubleshoot wiring without breaking the bank?

Dinan in Campbell does good work, pricey though. If your willing to make the trip to Sacramento, Igor at auto heaven has been awesome.

There's Ryan, only heard good things about him. If you want a crazy screwy but cheap as shit mech there's one at the bottom of the hill of highway nine coming from saratoga into downtown. No clue about his electrical work though.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Ryan would be my first pick, but too far. My grandma has used that tech on her mercedes. in my opinion, sketchyness.

oh yeah, definitely. I saw one mech there roll a oil holder thing (don't know what it's called, big orange thing on wheels that collects oil from a car on a lift) into the front bumper of an e38 like 6-7 years ago (left a big orange paint transfer) and I'd never take my bmw there unless i was standing there watching the ENTIRE time.

My dad told me he was there the other day and a customer (i think a 7 series) was telling him how great this mechanic is and in the background you could hear the mechanic saying "dammit where the hell are those bolts?? i had 8 bolts here a minute ago!"

I second jrdeamicis. Top notch guy, was really happy with the work he and his team did on my swap so far.
