Front black sport seats. Great shape. I would say they’re 8/10 overall. All recline, tilt, and thigh extension mechanisms work but need new struts. Original perforated vinyl is soft and not stained or discolored. Bolsters and padding are firm and supportive. Only damage is a small repaired (3M vinyl kit) tear low on the driver’s side left bolster, probably 8” long, as well as a 2” cut on the passenger seat next to the headrest. One seat is missing the plastic handle for the access to backseat, but the metal lever is still functional. I would obviously prefer local pickup in San Diego, but will ship at buyers expense plus a $50 handling fee.

Didn't want to crap on your actual FS thread but your price is ridiculous. I just recovered my front and rear cabrio seats in Italian leather for less than your two vinyl sport seats.

I appreciate your input. The cost to recover isn't necessarily an indicator of a reasonable asking price for complete seats. Your recovered front seats are probably worth $1500+. If someone had comfort seats and wanted sports, the alternative is junkyard seats for $500+ plus the cost of a recover. These can be used as-is, and their originality might be worth something to the right person. Like I said though, OBO.
Also, if you look on the 2002FAQ site, sport seats in far worse shape sell regularly for $1k+. If they don't sell on here locally, someone with a 2002 will likely pay my asking plus shipping.

Sure, shoot me a PM if you ever sell them for over $500. I'll buy you a beer ;)

I think you're confusing E21 Recaro seats with E30 sport seats. E30 sport seats are $100 a piece in decent condition. Nobody has ever paid a junkyard $500 for a set.
