Saw this ad on Craigslist:

I'm really interested in seeing this car. The one pic he has is beautiful, but the guy doesn't know any details about what kind of work was put in.

Spoke with him on the phone. He claims he's not a BMW guy and just did this as a one off. Had all the work done at a BMW specialist, lots of "performance" upgrades, rebuilt engine, transmission, suspension, etc. but he doesn't know what the specs are. Doesn't even know if it's m20 or not. Just that it was done recently and it's fast. That's all he told me.

Anyway, if anyone is around that area who wouldn't mind taking a look at the car, maybe snapping some photos, and trying to figure out some of the specs, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm down in San Diego, and don't necessarily want to take the 130 mile trip only to find out its a shitbox.

Sounds fishy and judging by the picture he uploaded it seems like a random e30 in europe (snow on the ground and euro bumpers)

He doesn't have a camera but is trying to get his friend with one to come take pictures and he will send them.
Yeah I asked him if the pic in the ad is the actual car and he said yes. But that doesn't mean anything.
Unfortunately, the Euroweaves are gone. Whatever aftermarket crap is on the car now would certainly be the first thing to go.

I'm sure It's fake, if its true and if its a right hand drive you would definitely came up. But even then looks like a scam.
