Job opening near Sacramento

Ground Control is having trouble keeping up with the internet.

We have lots of content, we are uploading as fast as we can, but we have more that is begging to be utilized.

Movies, test breaking, go pro shots, new products, web store, blog that needs filling, Facebook page that needs constant input etc.

It would help if you know about cars. This is a fulltime job, on location in Shingle Springs, we have all the equipment.

The succesful applicant....

Must be able to pass a drug test at any time.

Must be able to work for, and be paid by, Ground Control without being distracted by myspace.

Must be able to transfer verbal descriptions into written text suitable for inclusion into the company website, blogs, promotional material, etc.

Must have a working knowledge of PS and other commonly used programs.

i have a friend from shingle springs! if only this were a few months down the road, i'd be graduated and looking for something like this.

only part i don't fit into that is webpage design/update but im sure i could learn.....
but i'm all the way out in napa, and i have a non direct family member who is working for GC already.

Napa is just far from GC. It sucks you basically have to go way South, and then make a hard left and go way East.

I have lots of family in Napa, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and it takes a while to get there.

Hi Jay,

Any internships/positions for the summer, May-August? I'm a senior undergrad/M.E. at UC Merced and don't have any plans as of yet for the summer. Working at GC and heading out to thill on the weekends sounds like a great few months!

Just becasue you have a drug test doesn't exactly mean you wouldn't higher a highly qualified individual if they failed, correct?
