EDIT:
Buddy dropped of a full exhaust that passes smog.
Ran some Seafoam intake cleaner, and changed spark plugs (I thought I has done it, but I found all the new plugs in my map pocket). Turns out PO never changed the plugs as they were dirty like made. There was also 5 Bosch Platniums and 1 Bosch Super. Go figure

Gonna put thenew exhaust up tomorrow and try smog again

Good luck as well on the smog test! Sounds like you are on the right track.
Everytime I see one if these threads I think about how California discs everybody around with the smog requirements. So nice to register my vehicles in Nevada and never have to worry about this complete bullshit!

It seriously is complete garbage. The system is so broken, it shouldn't even exist. Exhaust swaps, "passing" smog, probability of less than desirable testing conditions producing worse results; there are so many variables in smog reduction, the system hardly even works. I don't mind smogging, but why is it required for sale/transfer of ownership? Serious horsecrap..

Even so, the iS is a secondary driver and I have friends that are willing to help me pass for nothing but some lunch on a weekend. I really don't have anything to complain about

The biggest bullshit about smog is the visual test. Why in all fuck should certain mods be illegal if you're not polluting any more than the same car in stock form?

Anyway I saw some guy in a z4 with OPN AYR plate this morning....top down at 7am when it's freezing cold and super foggy. What a baws.

good morning NorCal! Hey last night driving my coolant light came on. I pulled over and happend to have some Blue with me. After fill up i kept driving to this girls house (had a good night) but this morning i checked the level and it was low again! I know its not leaking its not hitting the floor! I fear that i might be burning coolant?! No smell or smoke still have plenty of power? Maybee head is going out?
