There is an 02 guy down here who does exactly this. I forgot his name, but he has a shop here in Long Beach. I think it's around 5k sq.ft and has a wall (13-14) of tii engines and 8-9 shells that have all undergone restoration and are primered, waiting for customers. He has to be 30ish years old.

It's a complete man cave.

On Saturday, I purchased a Cosmos e36 m3/4/5 from original owner. 215k miles. Stock as a button.

I don't even like e36 m3s.

Yup. The e30 has developed some rear thunk, the engine is rough, and it needs the rust handled. I'll be taking it apart completely and fixing everything.

Want a real gem of one?? Laguna secs blue on grey, it's an individual package car.... M5 bumpers and updated '03 headlights and taillights but it's a 97 non vanos car. Only 90k miles. Newer cluster and both cats have been updated as well. I could get it for you for like $7k.

Never really understood this. I own my e30 so I can drive it. Even if was to put 2, 000 miles on it a month.

That just means I am spending lots of time driving my favorite car, and its reliable.

Unless the car is seriously a rare or collectable car garage queens are dumb to me.
