I think a wanganstyle special clutch type may be more to your liking than a stock LSD. That mid-corner push is caused in part by clutch preload which can be reduced or removed altogether. That said, a Torsen definitely has its place and tends to help initial rotation more than a clutch type; or at least that is my impression on the matter so far.
