I heard it's raining pretty hard up there.

I have been missing my E30 and missing the Bay Area a lot lately.

Be careful out there everyone. Since it hasn't rained lately oils and what not have built up on the roads. I was entering a freeway on an on ramp that passes under the freeway then circles around onto the highway. I was entering at the proper speed and right once I got onto the freeway itself my rear end lost traction and I did some sliding. Thankfully I was able to counter steer and not end up in the guard rail.
Keep in mind I didn't romp the throttle or even add any. Since I don't have the lsd installed yet that wouldn't have been the culprit. Just super slippy roadways. Anyway, be safe!!!

Toodaloo, be careful man. GJ on the save. check the insides of your rear tires. when i was new to e30s i was only checking the outsides for wear and didn't realize the insides were bald. the LSD will make both rears come loose easier. in the rain i used to keep about 50lbs of water bottles in the trunk to keep the rear down. now i have a luke box for the weight back there.

Thanks Cabriolet. Yeah I checked them recently still have tons of tread left. My trunk was empty and I took out the spare since it was flat. Pretty much had no weight in the rear! Yep the lsd would make it much easier. Good for shinnanigans. But can be sketchy in poor weather.

E30's in the rain suck.
Any uneven roads with puddles you get swashed around. Luckily I have a 3.2 e36 rack so it's not that bad. Some roads in sac are just horrible!

Hey guys, so I need some guidance or someone that I can talk to. I recently bought an S50 engine with 112k miles and a blown HG. Everything is taken apart, so it needs to go to a machinist. Any shop recommendations in Sac/Bay/Central valley that won't burn my wallet? Also, is there anyone that would be willing to help me put it back together? I am willing to pay. Who wants my b34 it wouldnt be that hard to convert to M1.3 if you have an I motor now. I doubt the smog refs can tell the difference between a b34 and b35, most bmw guys cant
