Stev always lock your bike. they always get stolen

I once saw a pickup truck cruise by a restaurant I was sitting in and a dude in the the bed lifted a bike, with lock over the no parking sign it was locked to. After it sped off some guy in the restaurant ran out and started yelling.

Must be a lucrative business cause SF is littered with $5000 ebikes and such

I love how the BRZ is stolen and nobody gives a fuck because it's not the E30. For the record, idgaf either :rofl:

Got my fenders on finally, thanks again for grabbing them for me Jason. They have some scuffs but idgaf about that either

if it had been my E30 i'd be hunting down and killing the thief myself, but that's because of what i had to do to earn the money to build the car (that would be the iraq deployment, for those who don't know me so well).

i liked the BRZ, but it really was basically the same thing i built my vert into- a light, tight, sports coupe that was fast enough if you beat on it. and though i could drive it fast enough to have fun... i had the gf drive it home while i tailed her in the Z3 and told her to make me chase her, and it was only a few seconds before i'd caught her and had to back off.

eric is half right- i should have gotten a WRX. the STI's extra performance is not worth the ask; i could take the price difference and build a better car.

i have terrible luck when buying new cars, the only other time i bought one, someone keyed it when it had less than 100mi on it, and then i totaled it street racing (but that was also due to me being a stupid 19y/o kid, 18 years ago).

anyway like i said, i don't really *need* a car right now, so i can take my time moving stuff over from the Z3 to the E30 and make sure it's done right. and i'm happy enough about the new job and new house that i'm just not going to let this get me down.

glad to hear the fenders turned out okay. the seller could have done a better job packaging them, but that's r3v for ya.

Yes, but I'm not sure its a real one. The vin# didn't start with a WBSAK prefix. It was something else. It also had an S50 in it.

That white vert is a clone made by farzad(sp?) iirc. It was made using some of the last of the e30 m3 vert parts as I was told a few years back when I first saw it. Very nice photos will.

When I was a very young boy, I helped put that e30 m3 vert rep car together with Ryan G in Auburn, Ca. It has an s52 in it. All body panels used were genuine BMW. A lot into it, but he can't sell it for what he wants. Unless he did and I simply haven't kept up with the times.

But this was also 7-8 years ago when I touched the car.
