            I think the only e30 I would want with an auto would be a vert. They're already more of a cruiser/show off/ wet noodle car. Might as well have it in a form in which the lady can drive it.

              Definitely passing on this one even though it's nearly identical to my first E30. Buyer picks up the M3 on Saturday, manual swap should be happening the following weekend, then comes the sticky tires, Billy/HR set up and full brake refresh, new lines, pads and fluid. Are there any good alternatives to the early iS front valence? It hangs too low and scrapes over everything. I'm thinking about just chopping the bottom part off, below the fog lights.

                Yup, best alternative is to not lower the car.

                Other than that....put some cheapo rubber sheeting or delrin blocks underneath as a sacrificial scrape surface?

                  Wasn't my decision I guess I'll see how it sits with proper suspension. Also, why the hell do all the early fronts sag down an inch? So confuse.

                    speaking of the worst thing, redid the cooling circuit in the m50 car for the third time and it's still being a dick. beginning to come to terms with the suspicion that I'm overreacting and that this is just how it's going to be.

                              IMO, I totally agree.

                              But if the girlfriend can drive it just as easily her GTI, she would be more likely to enjoy it. Already have a manual coupe, so I wouldn't mind the addition of an auto vert.
