                    Actually, while I tend to hate smoked lights, they can look pretty good on most colors. I've seen cirrus, hellrot and even bronzit cars that pulled them off pretty well.

                            I'm planning on smoking mine but keeping the yellow lamin-x over the low beams. Hopefully it looks tight haha.

                                IMO; smoked housings only look good on e36s and up
                                As do the most "modern" retrofits like angel eyes. They.. Just... Don't.. Work...

                                I was contemplating even laminex yellow for a while, but I go over it because I wasn't looking for the tuner look. Smoked housings on a "Deep" e30 color could work though. Besides that, the chrome gives the e30 the retro-"throwback" look. Unlike on modern cars, chrome actually looks good on an e30 and usually better than blackout/smoke
