Well here's another plan. If you get an estimate of how many cars will be in your caravan. We can just meet you guys at the gates and hopefully have some room in group parking. If anything we can always move later b4 the event opens.

This thread was meant for the people who didn't know where to meet in the SFV. It seems it has only gotten more confusing.

Point is. I'm meeting at our Sherman Oaks spot and going from there to the rose bowl. However many people meet there and roll with us is cool with me. I'm not one to care about how many cars I have with me and what spot I get in the show. As long as I get there and have a good time, I'm fine.

Well im sure most of the SD guys will be down for a detour to pick everyone up. There was just some confusion on some people not wanting to pay 30$ to get in during the group parking times and not leaving as early.

Pacoima is somewhat out of the way if you ask me. The SD crew would have to PASS the Rose bowl to meet up with you.

Sherman oaks is more centrally located for everyone around the SFV/LA to meet up IMO.

Why is everyone bitching about parking? I feel like I stumbled into a junior high class full of VW drivers.

    ah i see.

Keep the idea open though, I think the 210 will be less crowded+a more scenic route much better chance for epic caravan photos.

not to mention the possibility of merging with the NorCal boys.

I agree, it's a couple miles added to the SD caravan, but for the fun we had on that 210 last year, i think it'll be worth it unless the SD guys think otherwise.

Sounds like you guys meeting at the sherman oaks spot don't quite have it together, I'm trying to help coordinate here.

if you're going to take the 405 to the 118, you will drive the fwy right past the pacoima spot, we could just merge.

This also brings a chance to merge with the people coming from northern counties if they're driving in in the morning.

the way i see it, its not that hard...

    SD I5 > picking up OC > 105 > S.Bay (105/405) > S.Oaks (405/101) > SFV (118/5) to the rosebowl.

N.Cal guys can merge up at 5/118 aswell to have the biggest number through the 210

This way we also don't have to jam up intersections, if leads have a co pilot making phone calls to the merging meet spots we can just be a growing caravan through the fwys. all we'd have to do is slow the pace a bit through merging areas.

Easy for us to merge with the sd>oc>southbay>la guys
and it seems like most of this group isn't willing to leave that early.

This is getting too complicated. Weekly wednesday people we are parking in the regular $20 grass parking and having our own bbq. If other caravans decide to meet up with us then thats awesome but stop confusing everyone :hitler:
