Cali guys! Find me a perfect 318is!

Hi guys, what am I doing in the cali section? Well im trying to fly to california, buy a california E30 and drive it back to Jersey. But I need some help from you guys! I'm trying to find a just about PERFECT 318is, paint must be amazing! no dings or dents or accidents! and it must be able to drive across the country! Im trying to head over there the last week of june/first week of july so let me know if you guys have any leads. Also what are some top tier E30 shops in Nor/Socal? I want to get a pre-purchase inspection so I know I'm buying a quality car!

Hey man, sorry my neighbor's 318is wasn't there today when I checked.
I know of a few others around town, but the best would be to check the craigslists of:
-SF Bay Area
-Los Angeles
-San Diego
-San Luis Obispo/Central Cali

Hopefully Ill see him tomorrow before I drive back down to socal :(

Keep in mind e30s are costing a pretty penny over here in Cali lately. I know there was a mint 318is here in la a while back that sold for 6000/6500. I know there was a super clean 325is in san Diego but the guy wanted 10000 for it.

One place that seems to have a lot of good deal e30s is up in Seattle.

Both those cars look like poopy and they're both resprayed unoriginal colors, I want a niceeeeeeee E30! Adult owned or very well maintained preferably.
And I want to try the feel of a 4cyl but yes it will be swapped haha.

<$6000 seems like a reasonable goal for a nice 318is IMO. That's my limit though, $6000 for a 318is means it is literally showroom condition.

Yo! Come to San Diego. WE got the best e30's down here and 2 amazing shops.

Oceanside Motorsports. They'll do right by you, tell em I sent you.
La Jolla Independent. A bit more exclusive, but won't let one rusty bolt go unbolted.
