SD Guys: Wheel Zone?

Hey guys, so I'm looking at getting my Borbet Ts refinished (powder coated and two of the wheels straightened) and originally was going to take them to a place someone referred me too called US Wheel Remanufacturing. Then I heard a ton of negative stuff about them and was referred to The Wheel Zone.

Well I went to them before for a "fill and drill" on a set of style 5's I had. When I got them back they had decided to not fill and just drill the holes and throw in steel inserts, essentially turning my wheels into swiss cheese. Long story short, I was pissed and sold the wheels to some guy who wanted them and made most my money back. So I'm hesitant on giving them my borbets to have straightened.

Has anyone else gone here? It seems like everyone I've talked to has had a positive experience with them, maybe my shit show was a fluke? Or does anyone else have a place they'd suggest?

I got my redrills done there and they were nice enough to get rid of some major curb rash for free while i was waiting. I think the steel inserts made them worse, and i think i read your thread beforehand and idk if the hub is smaller for e38 style 5s but i have e39 with tuner bolts so the hole is much smaller and i guess safer. Mine arent refilled, LAX was charging almost 380 not including me to drive out there and WHeel Zone was 140.

As far as powdercoating i'm not too sure, i used yelp and was going to go to one place to have them copper plate my bolts and they do powdercoating. The manager at wheel zone is a bit weird but overall they haveee been doing business for over 10 years and every time i've gone there, there are off the lot e90s and what not getting new wheels so, i'd give them another try. They got you you rollin pretty quick. Just be ready for inconsistent pricing. Other than that there service is aight..
