Bay Area: Looking to sell a car for scrap

I'm trying to find somewhere in the bay area who will pay me $$ for scrap weight of my car which I am going to be gutting/junking very soon.

Anyone know of some places?

This place way up in Sonoma co. apparently pays around $350 for the same type of car in weight, but it's a tad far - and I'm not sure if AAA will tow my CARcass

Where is the car at? Ive heard of metal recycling places in Oakland but I think they want the car in pieces. They want to buy "scrap metal" and not cars. Good luck! If you find anything, please post for future reference

if your going to hack it up around here people drive around collecting metal. usually i just put stuff outside and someone picks it up. maybe you can do the same. only thing sucks is that you want money for it. good luck.
