Oh and about the fronts I ended up just running the grills that came with the speakers. No problems on passenger side. Just had to wedge it in between the hood release. Not so bad at least it held the cover in lol. I like that the tweeters rotate also.

Thanks for the input! Sounds to me that to get a good sound i will have to go with a subwoofer. Luke YGPM. You seem to know alot about Audio so im going to take your word on the equipment that you suggested. As for the installation, how would i wire everything to keep it neat inside the car? My only knowledge with electronics is soldering wires together and charging a battery pretty much. lol Is there a DIY i can follow somewhere or am i risking fucking this up with my 0 experience?

You would be about the 20th person to tackle an install like this that has never done any car audio work ever. Most are far superior to so called "Pros". Trust me on that, I was a pro in shops all over the west coast for 30 years...99% of all installers suck.

Follow the tutorial and lean on R3V. Hell, have a get together at your house, make a party of it!

So, first hurdle: do you already know how to pull the stupid trim strips that hold down your carpet?

Second hurdle I bet you have done already: you have to take that trunk tar out. I assume yours already is, since you are caged.

Third thing is we need to know if your car came stock with Premium Sound, and what is in place now. We can work around anything, but if the car is Premium, it is much easier to install stuff in, since all the speaker wires are already in the trunk.

        Closing SOON!

listen to Luke, he will point you in the rite direction. Buy one of his boxes, and go from there. Focal is way to high end, yer gonna need some serious $$$ to run Focal with the proper amps.

I've been doing audio installs for most of my adult life, but Luke has been doing this since before i was born...aka hes a grumpy old man who forgot more than most of us know! lol

I remember back when I took a "mobile electronics" class the teacher said the same exact thing about installers. He said his brother used to be an installer & had no idea about ohms law or wiring in series/parrallel. As long as it worked they didn't care.

Sounds like I may have to pull the trigger on this. I have so much lined up for my car in the next month(paint,interior..etc.) its gonna take me a a couple days to give you a solid answer. If i do end up tackling this project though, ill throw this out there: Free beer and BBQ at my house for anyone willing to donate a bit of audio knowledge! :D:D

I know "darrenforreal" lives somewhere near Pasadena and he kicks ass, should take a few hours at worst if he helps.
