Everyone and their mother out here wants to get a marketing job, so agencies can be super picky and very cruel in in their recruiting.

Lots of my friends who just graduated w/ majors in marketing are lucky to have landed full-time positions at big-time firms paying $15/hour at most. Hard to live by yourself in LA on that.
