thats BS. you can technically run the car w/o or pilot bearing. or with a shot one.

where is the car and when are you coming up?

from my friend. the throw out bearing just was replaced, there was still a very loud bearing sound when the car would drive. then i got a call that the clutch stopped working, so i went there and drove it back for him. we are guessing that bearing disintegrated because thats how we found the original throw out bearing to be. he clutch pedal depresses less and has a shake feeling when feel the pedal.

we were going to turn it into a project as a fun summer car, so we bought it from the po and replaced the bearing. then we drove it again and after a couple of weeks the issue occurred.

Shake in the clutch pedal is the throwout bearing I believe, right? I know mine's going out.

its known its bearing related just havent put time into the investigation of it. it drives fine properly shifting w/o clutch (moving it back to the house). Had no issues or grinds.
