    anyone in california done the e to i swap

    anyone in cali done the e to i swap that can help me out

    i cant figure out why the car wont start ive checked double checked and triple checked everything i can think of and still no start.

    heres a link to my thread on the m20 forum for as much info as i can give.

          no spark no fuel i got another ecu today and nothing im just gonna get it towed to roberts shop tomorrow or thursday to get it squared away cuz this is way outta my league ive never been an electrician.

            No spark and no fuel= bad main relay. Trust me on this one.

                    For me the problem was a small plug on the harness that connects in the glove box.

                      turns out i reversed the ground and power on the power block on the exhaust side where the battery tray is
                      harness and dme were fine car runs tps was shot replaced that so all should be good now

                            he did i thought i had it wired in right but his job was just to get it started lol im still having issues with it idling extremely rough and stalling without holding the idle up manually

                            any thoughts it feels like im misfiring on at least 2-3 cylinders at idle but once it gets going its fine just once it settles down to around 1k if i idle it up to like 1500 it feels ok.
                            robert said the throttle body needs adjustment
                            i replaced the tps with a known good one from my old eta throttle body tps has same part # as an e or i so thats not the problem
                            theres vacuum leaks not sure where but the intake gasket itself was replaced a week ago

                            i need to jb weld the little fittings on the left and right side of the throttle body that hold the icv and brake booster vac lines
