does my car have a vinnumber on the firewall?

cars goin to the yard, i no the vins on the dash but i took the dash off, so now i gotta show them the vin number on the firewall

anyone no where exactly it is?

i have a 1991 325i vert

Just inside the engine bay as the windshield cowl turns down. In the center of the car.

i looked there but that isnt a vin number, its not long enough to be a vin number

Every US car has the VIN on the cowl.

Its either filled in with paint from a respray or replaced because of rust. Not so common to rust out on a Cali car.
