Does anyone want to paint my e30 in SoCal?

I just picked up a calypso 2 door the other day with extremely faded paint. It makes me sad seeing this awesome color in its current shape. I can't afford to spend a whole lot on it, most shops are quoting me 2-3k for a paint job and that is completely out of the question. I'm not asking for a 100% perfect show quality paint job here, I'm looking for a person who wants some side work who can paint my car in his garage/ at his work.

If you know of somebody, or you are interested please post here or PM me. I'm located near San Diego

Drive it up to NorCal. Oliver was painting e30's for under a grand. I think as low as 700.

Are you looking for 2 stage or 1? I got quotes for $550 (house paint single stage) and $650 (oem single stage) at Carcoa in Kearny Mesa. They wanted about $1500 for 2 stage though. I believe house paint was a 1 year warranty and oem was 3 years. I had them do some work on my F-150 before I sold it and they were honest, affordable, and did a good job. Haven't had them do paint for me yet, but from what I've seen on other cars, they are MUCH better than somewhere like Maaco.
