    Well, from what I've read everyone says that there should be a slight tick when cold and it disappears when the motor warms up. I can hear them very clearly at like 2k rpms when the motor is at operating temperature. the tick never seems to go away. It almost seems to get worse when the motor is warm.

            feeler gauge on the cam side of the rocker arm.

            Is there any visible wear on the cams or rockers?

              I didnt see anything it looked really clean in there. almost new lol

                Putting the feeler guage between the rocker arm and camshaft (other side)
                Just try .009" and see how you like it. Trust me.
                We've all been through this.
                But if you have the money just buy a rebuilt head.
